Hello. My name is Brittany Gargano-Smith. I’m an experienced library and literacy nonprofit and education leader, instructional designer, educator and library specialist.
I am vision and mission driven, and passionate about creating engaging, meaningful, and equitable learning opportunities.
After beginning my career in education via Teach For America, South Carolina, have served in a variety of school and district roles in Instructional Technology, Media Services, and Curriculum Leadership. While teaching I earned my Master’s degree in Education from Coker University, and later my Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of South Carolina. After nine years serving in public schools, I’ve spent the past four years working for education nonprofits.
I am driven to create learner-centered instructional experiences for all to ensure all participants can meet and exceed goals and objectives, truly finding their passions and unlocking limitless opportunities.
